Cleio′s Story

I found myself alone on the streets. I wandered for a while until a kind family found me and took me home. They already had a dog, and though they cared for me, it was too much for them.

When they decided to take me to the municipality pound, I was scared and confused. But a kind worker there didn’t want to see me end up behind bars. He called 2nd Chance Dogs and asked if they could help.

They said yes.

That’s how I got my name — Cleio — and my second chance at finding a forever home.

Character & Temperament

I’m an energetic and intelligent girl. I absolutely love people and often show it with my tail wagging and excitement when meeting new friends. I get along well with other dogs and enjoy walks and meals, but what really makes me happy is mental stimulation. I’m extremely clever and thrive in training sessions—I can handle advanced commands and would also enjoy activities like agility. I need a home that can provide plenty of physical and mental exercise, where I can learn, play, and stay engaged every day.

Ideal Home for Cleio

My ideal home would be active and engaging, with people who can match my energy and give me plenty of mental stimulation. I thrive with consistent training and enjoy learning new things, so a family who can challenge me and spend time teaching me would be perfect. I love the company of other dogs and would do well with playful or confident canine friends. I need space to explore, exercise, and play, and a home where I can feel safe, loved, and constantly engaged would make me happiest.
